Boom
Boom was envisioned as a nomadic cooperative, initially for the 36 hour opening of the Daniel Leibeskind designed Hamilton Wing at the Denver Art Museum in the fall of 2006. Our final appearance was at the Democratic National Convention in 2008, where we acted as cultural ambassadors showcasing Denver's talents for delegates and visitors. The gallery was built in the back of a 26 foot rental truck, complete with white walls, track lighting, and a professional presentation. Our goal was to make contemporary art accessible for all, right on the street.
