Redacted Drawings on Yupo

This series evolved by accident almost, while weeding large, detailed drawings that had been cut on a vinyl plotter.  "Weeding" is the process of removing the interior spaces, the negative spaces.  In the end, those shapes became more interesting than the original drawings, which had been done by hand, scanned, and then put into illustrator and smoothed.  It is not unusual for me to be more interested in the detritus of a project than the original intended process.
